From the San Diego Airport, take Hwy 5 north approximately 30 miles.  From the Orange County John Wayne Airport, take Hwy 5 south approximately 45 miles.  From either direction, take the Ocean Harbor Dr./Camp Pendleton Exit. Go east about a quarter mile to the main gate where drivers must show license/registration/insurance to get on Base.  Once you pass through the main gate there are no turns.  Drive 7.5 miles down the road (past the helicopter airport) until you see the big paintball sign on the right side of the street.  Turn up into the canyon about 200 yards to the staging area.
